Breanna Pimenta

Lawyer

Breanna is passionate about client advocacy and developing practical, client-focused solutions in family law. She graduated from McMaster University in 2022 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Justice, Political Philosophy and Law, completing her degree with distinction. During her undergraduate studies, she developed a strong interest in how the legal system can be used to support and advocate for others. Her interest in family law first emerged through coursework in bioethics and reproductive ethics, where she explored issues surrounding parentage and assisted reproduction.

Breanna continued to pursue her interest in family law while attending the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she further developed her skills in advocacy, negotiation, and client-focused problem-solving. Through experiences such as competing in the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition and working directly with clients at Justice for Children and Youth, she gained valuable experience approaching legal issues with empathy, professionalism, and a trauma-informed perspective. Breanna looks forward to continuing to grow as a compassionate and effective advocate throughout her articles with Murphy Family Law
